António Gonçalves
With over 30 years of experience in auditing and financial consulting, António Gonçalves is a partner at AB&AG and a Statutory Auditor. Throughout his career, he has led audit and statutory audit projects for public and private entities, including municipalities, hospitals, real estate companies and holding companies.

António Gonçalves is a member of the Disciplinary Council of the Order of Statutory Auditors and a member of several Supervisory Boards, including in the financial sector, with a presence at Banco Best and other entities of the Novo Banco Group.
He has solid experience in healthcare consulting, collaborating with ACSS and SPMS, in addition to developing projects in the assessment and monitoring of business risk. He is also an expert in legal and arbitration proceedings.
He began his career at Arthur Andersen, later leading the Audit Department at Grant Thornton & Associados, where he implemented internal quality control systems.
With an active academic career, he has provided training for OTOC and ISCAL, taught auditing at ISAL and IPA and contributed to the design of the Postgraduate Course in Auditing at ISAL. He regularly publishes articles in the Journal of the Order of Chartered Accountants.
